Services and Therapeutic Approach

Welcome!  Entering therapy is a courageous act. I have the utmost respect for individuals who are willing to share their story with me, and it is my goal to provide a safe, supportive space in which to do so.

I provide individual therapy to adults managing the following:  

  • Depression

  • Grief/loss

  • Chronic illness

  • Anxiety/panic disorders

  • Significant life transitions

  • Multicultural and gender identity

Collaboration is an important element in therapy.  My role is to partner with you in the self-discovery process. This includes working together in defining the issues you seek to address, and in identifying positive coping skills to manage internal and external stressors. I believe everyone has a well of strengths upon which to draw. I hope to support you as we foster these strengths.

My therapeutic approach draws from evidence-based practices that include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy,  Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.  I respect that every individual has a unique background and complexity of issues, and so I offer an approach tailored to each of my client's individual needs.
